I’m a software developer and entrepreneur based in Toronto, Ontario. I spent 17 years as CTO and Chief Technical Architect at Fonolo, building cloud-based call-back technology that transformed how call centers interact with customers. When Fonolo was acquired by Verint, I spent a year integrating that technology into their platform before founding Generator Labs in 2025.
Generator Labs is an infrastructure monitoring platform that helps enterprise teams track email deliverability, SSL certificate health, and domain reputation in real time. I originally built the core monitoring engine as RBLTracker in 2012, and it has grown to perform over 10 million checks per day across hundreds of thousands of active hosts worldwide.
Alongside that, I’ve spent years building open-source and free tools in the DNS and networking space. I’m the author of NetDNS2, a widely used PHP DNS resolver library, and I maintain Mr.DNS, a free collection of network diagnostic tools covering DNS lookups, propagation checking, DNSSEC validation, SSL certificate inspection, and email authentication analysis. I also run GoodTLS, a TLS and SSL configuration reference, and founded Mr.Host, a Canadian web hosting company serving small businesses since 2000.
